About Cheryl -
The Heart Behind Helping Hand
I’ve always believed that seniors deserve more than just care - they deserve real support that makes life easier, fuller, and less stressful.
As a former CNA, I saw firsthand that many seniors didn’t need hands-on care - they needed help with everything else. Paperwork, appointments, errands, home organization - the daily tasks that keep life running smoothly but don’t fall under traditional caregiving. Families, too, were stretched thin, juggling their own responsibilities while trying to support their aging loved ones.
That’s when I stepped in - not as a caregiver, but as a problem-solver, an extra set of hands, and a trusted companion.
It started with one aging couple, then word spread. Soon, a newly retired woman asked if I could check in on her mother-in-law, Ruth, while she traveled. Ruth not only became a dear friend - she became my biggest cheerleader, telling everyone she knew. And just like that, Helping Hand on Demand was born.
What began as a small way to help has grown into something much bigger: a way to make life feel lighter, easier, and more manageable for seniors and their families - wherever they are.
My Promise to You
No two seniors are the same, and neither is the support they need. That’s why I don’t offer one-size-fits-all services - I listen, adapt, and provide the kind of help that actually makes a difference in your daily life.
Some days, that might mean organizing a cluttered space. Other days, it’s running errands, handling phone calls, or just sharing good conversation over a cup of coffee. Whatever it is, my goal is always the same: to make life a little easier, a little more comfortable, and a lot less stressful.
TESTIMONIALS
Happy We Helped
"I was talking with a friend about needing some help with organizing, donating and downsizing my home. I have a spinal cord injury and cannot do these things myself. I contacted Cheryl and she started that week. We started in my overstuffed closet. Cheryl made suggestions as to how we should get started, she even took my clothes to be donated. She also rearranged my kitchen cabinets so I could reach things easier. She organized my basement and put away all my Christmas items neatly. I couldn’t believe how nice it looked! She has taken me on personal errands, looking for new walker, doctor’s appointment and to the grocery store. Cheryl has been a God send to me!"

"My husband and I are what they call the “sandwich generation” - you know taking care of the elderly and young family members. WelI, I discovered I cannot do all & be all. I was so BLESSED to find Cheryl!!!! Cheryl has been a Godsend for my family—especially for my MIL, Ruth. Hiring Cheryl to check in on Mom and do small things for her, allows me and my husband to have some important time for ourselves - without any worries. Cheryl is trustworthy, kind, reliable and loving. Just the type of person we were looking for."
